Although we offer affordable prices, Regency Fragrances uses only high-quality materials and ingredients. Our perfumes feature captivating top notes, bold heart notes, and long-lasting base notes whilst ensuring all ingredients are cruelty and phthalate free. The quality rivals well-known high street brands, but without the designer price tag.
Our Inspiration
The word "perfume" originates from the Latin
phrase "per fume," meaning "through smoke." This ancient art began in Mesopotamia, evolved with the Romans, and later reached Europe in the 14th century through Arabic influences. The creation of the first modern perfume, Hungary Water, in 1370 for Queen Elizabeth of Hungary, marked the beginning of perfumery's influence on European royalty.
Perfumery flourished during the Renaissance in Italy, before spreading to France, where Catherine de' Medici's personal perfumer helped make France a global center for fragrance. The Grasse region became renowned for
cultivating the exquisite flowers used in perfume-making. By the 18th century, fragrances had become symbols of elegance and prestige, with the British royal family setting trends across Europe.
Our collection, ‘Regency Fragrances,’ honors these
royal roots, drawing inspiration from the historical legacy of perfume in France, Italy, and England. Each scent captures the refinement and regality that once graced kings, queens, and courts—allowing you to experience the luxury of perfume’s royal heritage.
